Recipe Time: Stuffed Hamburger 🍔
Feeling adventurous and want to try something a bit more exciting than the usual chicken satay or spare ribs? We’ve got a scrumptious stuffed hamburger recipe that’s sure to impress. Ready in about 20 minutes, this recipe is perfect for four people.
Ingredients
- 400 grams of beef mince
- 150 grams of veal mince
- 2 eggs
- 30 grams of breadcrumbs
- 1 shallot (finely chopped)
- 2 sprigs of thyme (finely chopped)
- 2 sprigs of rosemary (needles stripped, finely chopped)
- 2 sprigs of parsley (finely chopped)
- 80 grams of fresh spinach
- 80 grams of Ricotta cheese
- 40 grams of grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 egg yolk
- Meat spices
- Salt
- Pepper
Let’s Get Cooking!
- Start by mixing the beef and veal mince, eggs, breadcrumbs, shallot, thyme, rosemary, parsley, and meat spices. Knead until it’s all nicely blended.
- Divide the mixture into eight equal parts and roll them into balls.
- For the filling, mix the spinach, ricotta, Parmesan cheese, and egg yolk. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Take one meatball, flatten it, and scoop a little dent in the center with a spoon. Lay a slice of bacon over it, then spoon a quarter of the ricotta mix on top.
- Flatten another meatball, place a slice of bacon on it, and sandwich it on top of the first, pressing the edges to seal your burger masterpiece. If you have a burger press, now’s the time to use it, but don’t sweat it if you don’t.
- Grill each side of the burger for about 8-10 minutes with the lid open, letting it cook slowly to perfection.
- Serve with some crispy fried potatoes, and voila, you’ve got yourself a feast!
